Bob Curgenven has 40 years of extensive experience in project managing an enormously diverse variety of engineering projects for North America and Europe. He is specialist in the identification, implementation, evaluation and government financing of energy saving and environmental technologies for manufacturing.
Marty Kaplan P. Eng has over 30 years of experience in the oil and chemical industries. As Manager of Shell Canada’s Oakville Research Centre, Mr. Kaplan oversaw the activities of 175 staff, and a $15 million operating budget. He was also responsible for defining and executing R&D activities related to oil refining as well as oil and chemical product development. During his career at Shell Canada, Marty became the Manager of Human Resources for Eastern Canada, Senior Economist for Exploration and Production, and directed the commissioning, start-up and operation of a $500 million chemical complex in Sarnia, Ontario.
David Reynolds is the president and founder of INAC Services Limited. He has over 20 years experience in securing government incentives for business. Prior to founding INAC, David held senior positions in plant management, production control, and costing for some the country’s largest manufacturing, printing and apparel companies.
Peter Scholze has over 38 years of experience in the food business. As Vice President of Purchasing for one of Canada’s largest food companies, Nestle Canada Inc., Pete was responsible for the procurement of all direct and indirect materials, goods and services. He also gained international experience, during a three year assignment based in Moscow as Head of Purchasing for Nestle’s exploding Russia and Eurasia Region markets.
Bob Turner P. Eng. has more than 25 years in the software, process control and telecommunications industries. For 18 years Bob held various development and senior managerial positions at Nortel Networks. As Technology Licensing Executive for Nortel, Bob was responsible for the formation, and implementation of technology licensing programs. Some of Bob’s licensing projects included audio processing algorithms, silicon chip designs, voice recognition technology, and telephone set designs, tooling and communications protocols.
Charles Wallace CA. began his consulting career as a business operations specialist for PriceWaterhouse Coopers. During this tenure, he managed the development and restructuring of numerous businesses. Mr. Wallace became the Chief Financial Officer for Luzenac Inc., the world’s largest talc producer and part of Rio Tinto. In this position, “Chuck” was accredited for dramatically increasing the profitability of the organization, and secured over $7 million in government grants and tax credits through the development of strategic alliances for product and market development. In his “spare” time, Chuck grows 250 acres of mixed grains on his farm near Hamilton, Ontario Canada.
Sandra Huerter is a communications specialist with over 10 years of technical writing experience. An author and editor of promotional material as well as research reports, journal papers, and industry trade publications, Ms. Huerter has represented—in writing—the ideas of scientists, business advisors, and manufacturers alike. She joins us following a successful academic research career in the areas of theoretical and applied computer science.
